Philomath is served by [WWW]Philomath Connection which is a local and inter-city bus service for Benton County.

In-town fare is $.50, intercity fare is $1.00. Free for children under 6. (Through Sept 1, children 6 to 17 years of age are also free (see GT article below). OSU Faculty, Staff & Students with VALID OSU ID can ride all Philomath routes by showing ID EACH TIME YOU RIDE. (Subject to annual agreements with OSU & ASOSU.)

If you're travelling further and without a car you may ride the Philomath Connection to Corvallis, then walk a couple blocks to the [WWW]Greyhound bus station at 153 NW 4th St. Service is limited. [WWW]Valley Retriever Buslines provides service from Philomath to Newport, Bend, Portland, and points in between. If you're flying out of [WWW]PDX you may choose to ride [WWW]Hut Shuttle from Corvallis (Hut picks up at the Hilton Garden Inn and at the OSU bookstore).
